Oct 23 Sabah Wetlands Conservation Society (SWCS) will be celebrating
Malaysia Environment Week (MASM) 2011 on the 23th of October 2011
at Kota Kinabalu Wetlands (KKW), 8.00am to 12.30pm and the theme is
“Environmental Conservation – Our Shared Responsibility”. The official launching
ceremony will be officiated by YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Kurup,
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Malaysia.

Open day for the public!
Activities : Drawing competition for primary school students
“Nature Link Game” for secondary school students
A free guided walk will be conducted at 11.00 a.m. for a group of twenty people.
This will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

June 5 Launching of Exhibition Hall in KKWC
Theme ” Water & Wetlands” in conjunction with the World Environment Day.
Officiated by YBhg. Datuk Abidin Madingkir,
Mayor of the City of Kota Kinabalu.

May 14 Mangrove Race in conjunction with Sabah Youth Day
May 13 Bird Race in conjunction with Sabah Youth Day

Jan 15 – Feb 5 Banner Painting Competition For Secondary Schools in Kota Kinabalu Wetland Centre
