Stretches over 1.3 km, this boardwalk provide better access to the mangrove forest for the visitors. Resting huts are located along the boardwalk for visitors to rest along their walk.\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"overflow:hidden;margin-bottom:30px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sabahwetlands.org\/kkw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/information-board.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1099\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;\" \/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Information Board<\/span><br \/>Located along the trails of the mangrove forest. These information boards provide facts on the flora and fauna found here in Kota Kinabalu Wetlands. Not to mention these signboards are bilingual thus gives ease to foreign visitors to read these signboards.\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"overflow:hidden;margin-bottom:30px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sabahwetlands.org\/kkw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/gravelpath.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1105\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;\"\/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Gravel Path<\/span><br \/>A unique feature here in Kota Kinabalu Wetlands. Stretches over 200 m, this path gives the visitors an insight experience on walking on mangrove soil. Keep an eye out for the fish that can walk on land or the Mudskippers when you walk along this path.\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"overflow:hidden;margin-bottom:30px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sabahwetlands.org\/kkw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/nursery.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1103\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;\"\/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Nursery<\/span><br \/>Located on the gravel path of the mangrove forest. Hundreds of young mangrove trees such as trees from the Rhizophora genus are grown and kept here before transferred out and replanted at Sulaman Lake Forest Reserve.\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"overflow:hidden;margin-bottom:30px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sabahwetlands.org\/kkw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/outdoor-classroom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1103\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;\"\/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Outdoor Classroom<\/span><br \/>The largest resting hut along the trails. Donated from the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu, this place is mainly used for carrying out activity during Environmental Education Programme session. Some fauna that can be seen here includes mud creepers (a type of snail)\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"overflow:hidden;margin-bottom:30px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sabahwetlands.org\/kkw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/birdhide.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1103\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;\"\/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Bird Hide<\/span><br \/>A must go place for bird-watching lover out there. Kota Kinabalu Wetlands has its own bird-hide where birds such as the Purple Heron and many types of Egrets can be spotted here. To experience a bird eyes view of the whole mangrove forest it is recommended to go here.\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-caret\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Exhibition hall<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<div style=\"overflow:hidden;margin-bottom:20px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sabahwetlands.org\/kkw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/exhibition-hall.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1101\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;\"\/>Located adjacent to the main building. For further information about mangroves flora and fauna, wetlands function and the RAMSAR convention can be obtained here.
